"WE CARE"
Have you ever really looked at your community? There are people living near you with not enough to eat. People wondering where the money will come from to pay this month's utility bill ... 'who will assist with the rent?' There are parents who can't afford to send their children to the dentist or doctor (RIGHT HERE IN YOUR COMMUNITY).
We, the members of St. Vincent de Paul Society, are here to help. We bring food to the hungry, assist with rent payments and work with the utility companies. We refer our clients to doctors and dentists. Need eye glasses? We can help. As a group, we go twice a month to the Dining Rooms to serve meals and once a month we deliver food to families in the St. Matthew’s area. These are a few of the services offered by St. Vincent de Paul.
St. Vincent de Paul is more than used furniture and used clothing (remember that big truck that comes through the neighborhood). We are a society of fellowship, spirituality and service helping people in need to "help themselves."
