A Stewardship Prayer
We pray this through Christ, our Lord. Amen
The Stewardship committee helps to coordinate and animate a stewardship way of life within the Parish and its membership. The committee works under the direction of the Pastor and in conjunction with the, Parish staff, the Parish Council, the Finance Council and the various Parish organizations. The goals of the committee are:
- To help parish leaders, organizations, families and individual members grow in stewardship awareness and understanding, enabling them to grow in holiness.
- To nurture faith-filled family and personal prayer and parish worship.
- To foster and affirm greater involvement in service within the parish and the community.
- To promote increased levels of generous material and financial sharing by the parish, families and individuals.
Parishes grounded in the concepts of Stewardship report increases in personal, family and communal prayer; growth in mass attendance and participation; a proliferation of parish service organizations and events supported by an ever-growing number of volunteers; and the ability to not only meet but to exceed the parish budgetary needs, which in turn, enables the parish to grown their programs and to share their resources with others.
