First Reconciliation

The Sacrament of Reconciliation is normally celebrated during a child’s second grade year. Candidates should have been enrolled in the Faith Formation program beginning in first grade, or at least one year prior.

St. Bernadette Parish offers Religious Education (RE) programs for children of our parish families to prepare them for these sacraments. Our program supports the sacramental preparation process for Reconciliation. Learn about our Religious Education programs.

Parents must be registered members of St. Bernadette and have completed all paperwork required of the Faith Formation department.

Sacramental Preparation for Pope John XXIII students

Pope John XXIII students take their Sacramental Preparation classes through their parish. Catholic elementary students do not need to take additional RE classes. To register, complete the Sacramental Preparation Registration Form for Pope John XXIII students and return the form with payment to the parish office.
